Google review removal for financial services firms
Allegations about advice are serious, and you cannot answer them publicly without breaching client confidentiality.
Mortgage brokers, financial advisers and insurance brokers collect reviews from people whose cases were declined, delayed or simply different from what they hoped for.
Regulated firms also face a specific problem: an allegation of mis-selling or unauthorised advice in a public review is a factual claim about your business, and the client relationship behind it cannot be discussed in a reply.
Send us the review and get an honest answer.
From £99 a removal, priced per review. No charge for the eligibility check.
- Honest check before you pay
- Most cases decided in 24 to 72 hours
- Full refund if Google keeps it up
Where these reviews come from
A firm's review profile looks different from most sectors, and a few categories recur.
- Reviews from a lead or enquiry that never became a client, including people whose case was declined
- Content naming an adviser personally or repeating a complaint already made to the firm
- Reviews from an introducer, a broker's associate or a relative of an applicant who was never your client
- Allegations of mis-selling or fraud stated as fact, which are checkable against advice records
Evidence that settles the argument
Regulated firms hold better records than almost any other sector, which is why these cases often move quickly.
- Client agreement or terms of business showing who was actually onboarded
- Advice and suitability records, or the absence of any file for the person named
- Lender or provider submission history, which shows whether an application ever existed
Replying as a regulated firm
Public answers are constrained twice over: by client confidentiality and by financial promotion rules. Keep replies factual, non-promotional and silent on the individual case.
- Never state or imply that the reviewer was a client
- Avoid anything that reads as a financial promotion or a performance claim
- Invite the person to your complaints procedure rather than debating the facts online
Questions we get asked
Sometimes. An allegation of unlawful conduct stated as fact, which your records contradict, is a genuine policy argument. A client's account of how advice felt to them is opinion and will usually stay.
A declined enquiry is not a customer relationship, so a review that presents itself as a client experience is worth reporting. Send us the enquiry record and the review wording.
No. A search showing no matching client, or a redacted extract that disproves one specific claim, is normally enough. We never ask for a full client file.
