Review problems

Google refused to remove the review

A refusal is usually about the report, not the review. A second attempt has to be a different argument.

Google's rejection is not a verdict on how hurtful the review is. It means the reviewer who saw your report did not find a policy breach in what you sent.

Most of the cases that reach us after a refusal fail for one of a few reasons, and most can be re-argued once those are fixed.

Send us the review and get an honest answer.

From £99 a removal, priced per review. No charge for the eligibility check.

Why reports get refused

These cover the majority of refusals we see.

  • The report argued that the review was unfair, untrue or damaging, none of which is a policy breach by itself
  • The wrong violation category was selected, so the reviewer checked for the wrong rule
  • The report contained no evidence on the one point that mattered, such as whether a transaction occurred
  • The review actually does comply with policy, in which case further attempts waste your time

How a second attempt should differ

Rewording the same report into a new flag rarely changes the outcome. Change the substance instead.

  • Re-read the review for a different, stronger policy angle: harassment, off-topic, conflict of interest
  • Add evidence the first report lacked, with the specific claim it contradicts
  • Quote the offending sentence exactly rather than paraphrasing it
  • If the content names a person or alleges a crime, escalate on that basis rather than as a quality complaint

When to stop

If the review is a genuine customer's opinion, no number of attempts will remove it, and repeated unfounded flags risk your profile.

  • We say no when the honest answer is no, and we do not charge for that assessment
  • For genuine criticism, a factual public reply does more for future customers than a failed dispute
  • If your records later disprove a claim in the review, come back: that changes the case

Questions we get asked

No. It means the report as filed did not demonstrate a breach. A different category, a clearer quotation or new evidence can change the result.

There is no fixed limit, but repeating an identical report achieves nothing. Each attempt needs a new argument or new evidence to be worth making.

Yes, and we will tell you at the assessment stage whether we think there is anything left to argue. If there is not, we will say so rather than take the fee.
