Review problems

How long does Google review removal take?

Most decisions land inside 24 to 72 hours. Nothing about that is guaranteed.

Once a report is filed, Google's own reviewers assess the content. In our experience most straightforward cases are decided within a day or three, and the review either comes down or stays up.

Several things move that timeline, and it is better to know them before you start than to chase afterwards.

What affects the timing

The review's age, the strength of the evidence and the volume of reports all play a part.

  • Recent reviews move fastest, because the account and transaction details are easier to verify
  • Cases needing a written argument take longer than an obvious spam removal
  • Batches of reviews on one profile are usually assessed together, which helps but can slow the first decision

A realistic sequence

Here is how a case typically runs from your first message to a decision.

  • Same day: assessment and an honest yes or no, usually within hours during UK working time
  • Within a day of payment: the report is filed with the policy category and evidence
  • One to three days: Google's decision, after which the review is removed or you are refunded

Why a case can stall

If Google refuses, the clock restarts with a new argument, and each attempt takes a fresh review cycle.

  • A refusal followed by an identical re-report: no progress
  • Waiting on records from your side, which is the most common delay we see
  • Reviews beyond 5 years old, where the trail is cold and the case is weaker from the outset

Questions we get asked

Occasionally, for obvious spam on a recently posted review. It is not something we would promise, and any provider that does is guessing.

Removed reviews stay removed. If the same reviewer posts again, that is a new review and a new report, and repeat behaviour by one account strengthens the case.

Within the same case, yes, while the review is up and there is a new argument to make. There is no extra charge for re-reporting inside an accepted case.
